Dr. David G. Anderson graduated from the University
Of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1956. He received a Masters Degree
in Dentistry in 1965 specializing in Prosthodontics; an area of dentistry
concerned with Dentures, Crowns and Bridges, Implants and other major
restorative procedures. Dr. Anderson taught and wrote the course in partial
dentures at the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry and has invaluable
information and skills in this area.
Dr. Anderson’s major area of interest is in the construction of esthetically
pleasing dentures. His goal is to reconstruct the look of the patient’s
smile before the natural teeth were lost, or to make the most natural cosmetic
look consistent with the functions of speech and chewing. He works cooperatively,
using his extensive background and photographs, memory, and desires of the patient
to achieve their goals. He is not satisfied with the commonly seen denture look,
but strives for the greater goal of reconstructing a harmoniously pleasing,
well-fitting, comfortable appliance.
He has been involved with implant reconstruction of whole and partial dentitions
for over twenty years. He will add this dimension when possible to achieve long-lasting
comfort, function, and esthetics for appropriate situations. Dr. Anderson is
a listener. He will develop a plan using patient's past experiences and hopes
for the future, while critically analyzing the anatomic structures and functioning
of their present situation.
Dr. Anderson has practiced in the S.W. Minneapolis and Edina area since 1965,
and in our present location since 1989. He and his wife have lived in Edina since
1969.
Please call for a consultative appointment to progress to a brighter future with
